  Awesome Place!! After starting this journey with mission teens in Norma NJ, and then going to jerseyville Illinois to pioneer the mission there. When I entered these doors here at SMBTC on Oct 3, 2003. The spirit of peace and finally feeling comfortable and knowing that I belong in this ministry for a greater reason then why I came in the ministry was one of the greatest feeling ever. The spirit here was actually Love. I thank God everyday for bringing me here to SMBTC to do my serving for him.. A awesome center to find out who u are in Christ and to walk freely in it.

  Would you like to make lasting changes in your life? Why do you do what you do? Are the stuggles that you face the result of sin? If it is sin, then there is no human remedy.   I was a resident and staff member in SMBTC for over 2 years. I came in like everyone else, broken, lost, hurt, depressed. I had no idea how my life had gotten so bad and I had lost everything dear to me. God used the mission to not just help me get off drugs, that was a side effect of finding and developing a solid relationship with Jesus Christ. SMBTC works for one reason, and one reason only.....the program, residents and staff...not to mention the selfless directors, all point you to Jesus Christ.. the final answer to ALL life's problems. There is no other program in America that preaches Christ to people who have reached the end (because Jesus is usually a last resort for most people) and they do it free of charge. No costs involved. My life has changed so much that there isn't room enough on the internet to explain all the changes He made in me. I'm not just off heroin, I'm a father, a husband and a leader in my church. I hold a good job and I go out to help reach others who have the same problems I did. SMBTC provided a place for me when no one wanted me and I wanted to kill myself and I became a new creature in Christ Jesus because of it. I thank God for SMBTC because it gave me a place to seek Jesus and my life has been restored seven fold. God is not slack on His promises and He restored me and went beyond all I could ask or think. Thank you Jesus for SMBTC

  S.M.B.T.C. - "God's secret gem." His "diamond in the rough," for those like me, who have desperately searched the boundaries of their lives for something that offers real hope to real people who are desperate for change. Savannah Mission Bible Training Center has been the place God has used to not only rescue me from myself and from the pit of the addiction that i created, but also as the avenue towards real, lasting change. It's only through God that change is ever possible but, there's no doubt that S.M.B.T.C. is one of the finest tools at his disposal.
