  As a Savannah native that has been gone for 12 years, this place has some GREAT soul food! I've been told about it for the past couple of years and finally got the opportunity to try it out with my family. Then mix in the fact that nothing is cooked with pork was just the icing on the cake. I did find out the hard way that they do not accept credit/debit card though.

  This place ROCKS! Go put your name on the list at Paula Deans place then come back here and enjoy authentic southern food and hospitality at it's BEST. The fish is awesome! The fried chicken and green beans are heavenly!! You might then want to cancel reservations at Paula's.
